As Operations Manager, Joel oversees essential processing, underwriting, closing, and funding duties of Approved Mortgage, all the while working closely with his own real estate business partners to originate and close his personal loan production. Joel has been with Approved Mortgage (formerly Winterwood Mortgage) since November of 2010. Working his way up from what Jim Landwerlen called him rather jokingly after his first week as “JR Data Manager,” to Director of Marketing & IT, to Operations Manager, Joel has played many roles throughout Approved Mortgage over the years. His experience and knowledge of the industry help him lead not just his clients to successful loan closings, but also those of whom he supports through the Operations Department.
