Approved was very effective at their job. Their loan officer was very knowledgeable and explained the pro's and con's of each option I had. As a first time home buyer, Carrie and Crystal could not have made the mortgage process any more smooth and straightforward. All expectations/deliverables were laid out clearly, and the Clear To Close was achieved swiftly (Carrie prides herself on getting things done fast!). I also must say that their prompt returning of emails and phone calls was a breath of fresh air in a society where you often have to pull teeth to get communication with the people you need.I recommend with no qualms whatsoever.

On our recent home purchase, Carrie and Crystal were great with keeping up with communication, letting us know what to expect, what was needed and updating us along the way during the mortgage process. We had Sharron Dee's from Approved Mortgage, and she was by far the easiest person to deal with in our new house build. She went above and beyond during the whole process. She was reliable, always on time and always looked out for our best interest. Could not recommend her and Approved Mortgage enough. Especially if you're building with Pulte as they are very difficult to deal with and Sharon made sure the process was as easy as could be from the mortgage side. If there was a six star rating she'd have it.

My wife and I recently used Dan Rikkers to help us secure a mortgage for a new home in the Beech Grove area. We did everything remotely from Colorado including the closing. Dan was always available within a reasonable time. He always got back to us. When the appraisal took the full 5 business days to come back which meant he had to have all of the paperwork ready for the seller two days later, Dan made it happen. We used a mobile notary how came to our residence in the evening MST, so the title company closed for the day. Dan called me prior to the closing and told me that he would be available during our closing time for any questions we may have. True to his word, he was not only available, he was able to provide us with an important signature page the title company left out. Dan's service was over-the-top as far as I am concerned. If you are considering Approved Mortgage, I highly recommend asking specifically for Dan Rikkers.

So I started my loan process with Chase not knowing they have a poor reputation with mortgages (so congrats to you for reading reviews to make an informed decision). After 3 months and still not being able to close, I switched to Approved Mortgage and explained the problems I'd been having with Chase. They had me out of underwriting within 24 hrs and once the appraisal came back we were cleared to close. The process with Approved Mortgage took less than 4 weeks. Now to be realistic for others it might take you longer since I had all the documents put together and inspection and everything else done from the process with Chase. But 3 months and no house to 4 weeks and getting the house, I think you can do the math on why I'm happy with my Approved Mortgage experience. Can't thank Approved Mortgage enough for making it possible for us to close on our home!

Taking out a mortgage can be pretty stressful, but with Carrie Johnston guiding us through the process, it was practically a breeze. She was clear and up front with us about every step in the process. She made sure things moved along quickly and smoothly so that at no point did we ever feel like the loan might not be ready in time for closing. She walked us through the disclosure statements as they were made available and was always available for questions. Carrie is well connected with the local real estate agents and title companies and does an amazing job coordinating with them all. Carrie Johnston was recommended to me by a co-worker. I simply could not be more pleased with her, and her assistant Meghan Sporre. As a first time home buyer and an accountant, I had SO MANY questions throughout this process. I could e-mail Carrie at any time of night and receive a response right away, or early the next morning. She was so patient and helpful. We also had something of a family tragedy during the home buying process and they were so gracious and kind about the whole thing. I felt like, of all the people that make money off of a home purchase (i.e. Realtors), Carrie and her team work the hardest and are the least well-compensated. I don't begrudge a single dollar paid to them. My husband even said she was worth every penny, and he is the biggest cheapskate you could ever meet (sorry, honey)! They got me an incredible rate on my loan, and have a huge amount of lenders available to them to help with that. The signing process is painless, and they are very clear about all the pieces needed in the financial process.
